Safe Working Session at Theater a/d Rijn – Code of Conduct

In previous sessions, Merel Severs and Brent de Vries already discussed boundaries and transgressive behavior with a small group, and they organized intimacy coaching under the guidance of Zarah Bracht. The third session will take place on Monday 14 November and a final session is planned in January. The sessions take place in a small group of a maximum of 20 participants.

In this session, our chair Vivian Cintra van Der Hoek will give us an introduction on how Codes of Conduct can help us to create safe workspaces and will guide us in a group exercise on the matter. Please keep in mind that the lecture will be in English.

Vivian Cintra (She/Her) is a Brazilian visual artist, international lawyer, writer & researcher based in Rotterdam. Alumni of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Vivian is also the Co-Founder and Co-chair of Engagement Arts NL, a not-for-profit organization addressing gender-based violence, sexism, discrimination and abuse of power in the Dutch arts field. As a lawyer and an artist, Vivian is invested in researching innovative tools and practices for the prevention of gender-based violence, human rights violation, coercion, discrimination & harassment in (small) communities, especially in the workspace.
